This pot cover is very versatile, it fits several sizes of my pots, so now I don't have to search for the exact lid that fits each of my pots. It has the little steam vent in the lid, this makes it easier to avoid pots overflowing when the contents boil. It won't keep it from overflowing every time..if you have the pot filled high, it might still overflow, but it will avoid it most of the time. I am so pleased with how versatile this lit is. But make sure you're careful and don't put your hand over the steam release hole, you will get burned. The lid is dishwasher safe and washed nicely.I am very pleased with this lid.In general these are nice lids that will fit what they say they'll fit. This is not my first one, but I have discovered that all the ridges in the silicone Edge can be hard to get clean particularly if your hand washing which I do a lot of.Of course the glass is nice to be able to see into while cooking, and if you pick it up off the pot the silicone Edge serves to slow down any liquid that may spill off of it.The handle is also silicone coated and so it stays cool and gives a certain sense of security.Perfect fit for many pots and pans! Great for all our things that do not come with a cover when we want to use one.Nice lid, ordered wrong size for pan but still worked. Harder to clean than glass or metal lid because of the silicone rim.Was just what the Amazon site said it was fits perfectlyWas looking for a lid on my non-stick pans. The rubber outer seal does the job. I will hand wash as recommended so it does not get gummy, but you can put in the dishwasherWished it was larger. Too small for my large skillet.Thank you.Bought for use on my 9.5inch carbon steel skillet, it's a bit too big so lid does not sit perfectly on the skillet, hangs a bit. This is 100% not an issue for me because I am not trying to lock steam in when using the skillet. The edge on the lid is exactly at 9.5, exactly same size as skillet, however the edge on lid should be a millimeter or 2 smaller for the edge to fit inside the lid for a tighter fit, if that's what you want!!Bought this size to cover a missing stainless lid. It fits slightly small but there is no overhang when using this top. It is great to have the see through function and s steam release too. Very happy with the product quality, function and costI have this lid in three different sizes and love all of them. It is so nice to have a well fitting lid for all of my frying pans.
